Godfather Cocktail

Godfather is a favorite classic cocktail from the 70’s. His recipe is very simple. You only need two ingredients: Scotch whiskey and amaretto. It also goes well with sweets such as tiramisu, cheesecake or baklava.

Materials:
45 ml Scotch whiskey
15 ml amaretto liqueur

Implementation:
In an old-fashioned (or just a low) glass we put ice cubes, we pour the Scotch whiskey and the amaretto and we mix.

Tips:
Choose a good quality amaretto. Ice is also important, as it is the third ingredient in this cocktail and is just as important as the other two. Use as clean water as possible and avoid using ice that has been in the freezer for a long time or near foods with strong aromas, such as fish. Ideally, this cocktail needs large ice cubes that will melt slowly and will not dilute the drink.
