The front hangs by a thread for the Ukrainians – A major Russian attack is just a matter of time

The Ukrainian defense line is hanging by a thread, with the Russians having captured a large percentage of the besieged cities or being very close, such as in Pokrovsk.

The main problem of the Ukrainians is the lack of heavy weapons, or to be absolutely precise, the inadequacy, as the losses they have “recorded” in anti-aircraft guns, Armoured Battle tanks, APVs, etc. are not being replaced because the West simply has nothing else to give.

They have no Western weapons systems to supply, nor are there any former Soviet ones from the eastern NATO countries. Everything has been consumed on the battlefields.

And the interruption of the smooth flow by the US has caused problems.

And now, if the US were to start again, it would take one to two months to restore the required quantities of war material, and this is not expected to happen.

In any case, the arrival of the new commander of the Russian Army, Andrei Mordvichev, seems to have transformed the philosophy and method of action of the Russian strike units.

The former commander of “Group Center” is in favor of continuous and uninterrupted offensive operations with the central goal of capturing territory and not a war of attrition.

Among all the problems facing the Ukrainians is that they do not even have reserves of military personnel, so they are not able to regain the initiative of movements and stop the Russian offensive actions at any point on the eastern front.

They do not have heavy weapons, they do not have tanks, they do not have APV.

The fact that they are using MRAPs as APVs proves that there is a shortage of APVs and the Europeans have “run out”.

They are again providing Leopard 1 battle tanks which are combat worthy but are vulnerable due to thin armor and need extensive modernization programs but there is no time to do this.

As has been said, the Soviet material that the eastern countries had is over, on the contrary the Russians have it in abundance in their own warehouses and if needed there is North Korea which has over 4,000 battle tanks and of course the Chinese who as clarified by Xi Jinping, are allies which means that the Chinese warehouses are accessible and free for use by the Russians.

Here it should be noted that the war material that the Chinese have is literally inexhaustible. The West has a problem and the US is the only one that can provide sufficient quantities but it is not going to do so under the current Trump administration.

If all the European tanks were to be gathered together, except for the Greek and Turkish ones, the question is whether they would reach 1,000.

The new Russian leader knows all this very well and immediately changed the philosophy of the Russian forces as he himself is more daring by nature.

He is currently carrying out an attack on all points of the front with the “Center Group” at the spearhead, that is, he is operating in Toretsk, Chasiv Ya, Liman, Pokrovks and Konstantinivka or Konstantinovka, which he has set as his goal to capture by the end of the summer.

Especially with regard to Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, they have been occupied by 90%, while in the other cities they are “tightening” the “cord” at a very rapid pace.

In Pokrovsk, they have territorial gains and the reason they have chosen a slow advance is because there are still 35,000 Russian-speakers remaining in the city, who have not left and are awaiting the entry of Russian forces.

East of Pokrovsk, the 10th Armored Regiment operates with a force of 400 tanks and APV. A force consisting of T-90s, BMP-3s and BMPT Terminators.

The front is ripe for a “break” but where this will happen remains a question.
