US Navy: launched the 26th Virginia-class submarine

On August 6, General Dynamics Electric Boat conducted the launching ceremony of the nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Idaho (SSN 799) of the US Navy.

USS Idaho is the 26th submarine of the Virginia class, with a displacement of 7,800 tons, a length of 115 meters and a crew of 135. It will be able to reach a speed of 25 knots in a dive for months and will carry torpedoes and cruise missiles.
