British Baroque: Power and Illusion

Tate Britain in London launches a new exhibition dedicated to the British Baroque of the 17th century and early 18th century. Most of the projects come from the last phase of the Stuart period, which was a time of great change. More emphasis is given to projects coming from 1660 to 1714. This exhibition will include the work of the leading painters of the day-including Peter Lely, Godfrey Kneller, James Thornhill.

Dumb Type / Type and Reflections

The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo presents the exhibition “Actions + Reflections” by leading Japanese media artist collective Dumb Type. Dump Type is a multi-media performance artist group centered on Teiji Furuhashi (1960-1995).
