Test bombing of Kerch bridge in Crimea by French Rafale F.3 fighters

Su-27 fighter jets took off and intercepted two French Air Force Rafale F.3 fighters and an AWACS reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry.

According to the statement, the aircraft were identified as an E-3F AWACS and two Rafale fighters, which changed direction and left the area. The whole set-up appears to be a “rehearsal” of bombing the Kerch bridge in the Crimea, as described in the intercepted conversation between German Defense Ministry officials and German Air Force officers.

E-3F AWACS target and Rafale F.2s fire weapons. Classic ground target attack package. The Germans were speaking specifically in the conversation, more specifically the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr (of the German armed forces), Gerhartz, and the employee of the Bundeswehr Space Operations Center, Fenske, was responding

Gerhartz: There is an opinion that Taurus will succeed if it uses the French Dassault Rafale fighter.

Fenske: All they have to do is blow a hole and destroy the bridge. And before we make any important statements, we must…

Gerhartz: We all know that they want to destroy the bridge, what does that ultimately mean, how are the Russians protecting it – not only because it has important military-strategic, but also political significance.
