Why did Erdogan now “push” Hamas to cause carnage in Israel?

Many are wondering why the terrorist organization Hamas attacked Israel at this time, causing an unprecedented bloodbath that led Tel Aviv to declare war on it.

Which country now “pushed” Hamas to attack Israel?

Did Hamas act on its own or was some “friendly hand” “pushing” it to now carry out its barbaric attack on innocent Israeli civilians, with the sure result of Israel’s declaration of war?

The answer to these questions is easily extracted if one carefully examines which country hosts Hamas leaders, cooperates perfectly with them, would benefit from an Israel-Hamas war and for what reasons. This country is none other than Turkey (please also read the analyses titled “The Geopolitical dimension of the Hamas – Israel conflict on the map of the Middle East” & “Hamas execute civilians inside Israel to destroy the Peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia“).

Iraq-Qatar-UAE-Turkey transport ministers meeting on the Gulf-EU Development Route

Another meeting is being held this month to speed up the Development Corridor that will link the Persian Gulf through Turkey to Europe. The transport ministers of Iraq, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates will meet, hosted by Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu.

The work going on at the bureaucratic level on the trillion project, will accelerate with the ministerial summit to be held this month. The transport ministers of the relevant countries are expected to meet at the end of this month, where they are expected to assess the construction phase of the FAW port in the United Arab Emirates, the contribution of Turkey and Iraq to the project, as well as the railway and highway projects.

“Green Light” from Saudi Arabia

The investment cost of the “Development Road Project”, which will be created with the participation of Iraq, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in the first phase, in Turkey is 7.8 billion dollars, while the investment cost in Iraq is 16 billion dollars. As a result of the partnership, goods will be transported from the FAW port in the UAE to Turkey by road and rail, providing a transit route to Europe. Saudi Arabia also welcomes the project.

The Indo-European route

The US-EU decision at the G-20 Summit was to advance the so-called “Indo-European Route” as a counterbalance to the Chinese Silk Road, with India at the center and with a route starting from it via the UAE-Saudi Arabia- of Jordan-Israel-Greece to end up in the EU.

The US, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy and the European Union, which signed the agreement, aim to create an alternative to China’s Belt and Road project, with the project known as IMEC for short, to be the route starting from India through the Arabian Peninsula, Israel, the Mediterranean and Greece to Europe.

A decisive role for the implementation of the “Indo-European route” is the “Abraham Agreements” of Israel with the UAE and the very good relations between Saudi Arabia – Israel, but also Saudi Arabia – India, taking for granted the excellent relations for years between Israel-Greece-Cyprus-Egypt in the SE Mediterranean.

In this way, and despite the Turks questioning it due to the fact that they remain outside the project in question, Greece will be the gateway to the EU on behalf of the “Indo-European route” in case of implementation.

The Hamas-Israel war is trying to change the Saudi-UAE stance

All of the above was true until the outbreak of the Hamas-Israeli war that the terrorist organization provoked, resulting now in the impossibility of signing an Abraham treaty between Saudi Arabia and Israel in the first place and the turning of both Riyadh and Abu Dhabi against Israel, under the weight of angry reaction to the deaths of Palestinian civilians and children.

Thus, Turkey comes out victorious, since from where it was outside the project of the Indo-European route, now thanks to the Hamas-Israel war, it is attempting to replace Israel and then Greece, as the countries of the Persian Gulf-EU interface.

Finally, the barrage of Turkish airstrikes recently against the PKK in northern Iraq is intensifying this, in order to create a safe environment – in vain in our estimation – for the land and rail route inside Iraq that will lead to Turkey.

Therefore, Turkey is the one that benefits the most from the Hamas-Israeli war and that is why it takes a stand in favor of Hamas, which it supports and did not condemn for the massacres of innocent Israeli citizens.
