With the passage of time and the faster computers become slower. For this reason, there are some solutions that if implemented you can give back in your PC its lost speed.
Reasons for the lost speed of PC over time are internet browsing, program add-in & removals equally, possible open applications on the computer that all these actions lead to the accumulation of useless programs and “rubbish” causing slower performance on your computer.
Usually incriminating data, on the PC’s late are due to a full of surface desktop programs, an almost full hard drive and a backlog of recent browser files.

Step 1– Check internet connection
First you should check if your Internet connection is slow. If it is slow you will need to upgrade, it and make it quicker.
Step 2-Proceed to cleaning
Sometimes some part of the PC does not work because it is not well-cleaned e.g. it may stick the keys on the keyboard because they are dirty, or another case is because the fan has dust may start to fail. For this before proceeding to the next steps do a cleaning first.
Step 3-Clean all unwanted programs and files you have on the computer
You should then clean all unwanted programs and files that you have on the computer. In this case you should keep in mind that even if you erase them you should check and make sure that these erased programs and files are not kept records in your PC’s registry.
Windows Registry or CCCleaner are programs that will do you all the work and in terms of cleaning the memory of your PC and your recent browser files.
Programs that you do not necessarily need must be erased because with windows start, they may be starting together and running parallel in the background.
If on the other hand you have files with movies, video clips, photos etc. it would be nice to transfer them to an external drive.
Step 4 – Proceed directly to malware removal
The usual suspect, when the computer is delayed for no reason, is the malicious software that may exist without your knowledge on your PC. Malicious software is primarily aimed at accessing your data but at the same time it can cause late.
Scanning and clearing your computer in this case should be repeated at regular intervals to ensure that there is no possibility of malware being present on your PC.
Step 5-Fix any system errors on your computer
Sudden shutdown of the computer, restarting during an upgrade, and add/remove programs may be caused by errors in your PC system files.
The solution in this case is to open the command prompt and give the command sfc/scannow. When you proceed with this action, you should not close the window until verification is complete.
Step 6 – Defragment the hard drive
A fragmented hard drive shows empty points, an event that translates to the hard drive making more energy/effort to overcome these empty spots. The result of this PC effort is that folders and files open slowly. Windows has a built-in hard disk defragmenter tool.
Step 7-Proceed to disable Visual Effects
Since it does not exist on the hard disk enough memory it would be preferable to disable several options concerning visual effects, e.g. animated windows etc.
Step 8 – Upgrade your hardware
One of the delays of your PC’s hardware is the need to upgrade it. You may need another video card, or the RAM may be is not enough to support the required functions of your PC. You may need to opt-in to an upgrade specialist given that you have first learn the specifications of your computer.
Step 9 – Re-save Windows
You might want to re-save Windows as the most drastic solution. So, before you do the so-called format, make sure you have created back up for your files.
