The Ukrainians landed on the Dnieper with 7 boats and were destroyed by the Russians

Ukrainian soldiers have not given up their efforts to storm the Dnieper River in the Kherson region and land on its left bank, which is controlled by Russia. However, according to Russia’s Channel 5, all these efforts are being crushed by Russian fighters. Alexander Kots, a military commander who visited the area, spoke about the situation.

In April, saboteur groups of the Ukrainian forces began to land on various small islands, where the inhabitants of Kherson live peacefully. At least that’s what the Russians are reporting. At these points, the soldiers created forts, from where they launched their raids against the Russian coast along canals. Russian observatories are attacked, of no strategic importance. Its purpose is said to be intimidation and psychological pressure, the Russian military said.

To neutralize the Ukrainian saboteurs, the Russians used aircraft that dropped 500 kg bombs on them. Ground units and artillery also took part in the operations. As a result, the Russians neutralized the Ukrainian units.

The operational-combat tactical group “Waterfall” of the Russian forces launched a devastating blow against a position of the Ukrainian armed forces near the village of Orlovka. Impressive footage from a drone was published by the Russian agency.

The footage shows a map of the US M777 gun, which is in service with Ukrainian forces. This particular one was located on barren land near the village of Orlovka. The footage from the drone recorded the action of the cannon, which was bombarding areas of Donbas, until of course it was destroyed by a Russian tank missile.

As an extension of the blow, the American-made cannon was destroyed and part of its crew was killed. However, some Ukrainians managed to survive.

Note that the M777s are 155 mm caliber guns that the US provided to Kiev after the start of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
