US President Joe Biden who suddenly visited Ukraine offering another package of $500 million, when Ukrainian President Zelensky has asked for $1 trillion for the reconstruction of Ukraine and so far has received $110 billion, much of it in military aid. But Joe Biden raised hopes among the Ukrainians that they might launch a counterattack and hinted that they could also strike Crimea (please read also the analysis titled “What does Biden’s visit to Kiev indicate in practice?“.
It is unprecedented but the big victim is the Ukrainian people, while the Americans are trying to weaken Russia, but so far Ukraine has been destroyed, economically, militarily and over 260,000 Ukrainians have been killed or injured.
Russia not only did not weaken if we consider that a block of 50 countries all the countries of the West are against it but made the following strategic moves:
1. Russia is moving ever deeper into Ukrainian territory
In response to the strategy of the Americans supplying Ukraine with weapons and drawing up NATO’s strategy against Russia, but also the strategy of the Ukrainians since the Americans are planning the new Ukrainian counterattack with new long-range weapon systems, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this will oblige Russia to increase the conquered territories.
What does this mean;
That while the Russians planned to conquer all of Luhansk and Donetsk region, Zaporizhia and Kherson to prevent blows to Russia… they would be forced to continue their advance perhaps beyond the Dnieper River. The war will be prolonged and the big loser will be Ukraine…NATO supporting a doomed war and the Americans supporting the fight for democracy, their goal is one to weaken Russia. Putin in his February 21, 2023 message stressed that NATO and the US must realize that Russia cannot be defeated militarily (plese read also the analysis titled “Russia sees an irreversible rift with the West“). It is a military superpower and the world’s first nuclear power with the best missile systems in the world.
2. Nuclear back in the spotlight because of the Americans
Russia, which plays a tough game on the global chessboard, has declared that it is freezing New Start, the agreement to limit nuclear weapons. The Europeans immediately panicked and immediately called on Russia to rejoin the deal. As long as the climate with the US remains hostile, Russia will keep the New Start agreement frozen in its arsenal. Meanwhile the world will once again enter a nuclear race. Also, because of the strategy of the Americans, the planet is once again entering a dangerous arms race. Where nukes were all but forgotten… nukes are back in the limelight.
3. Towards strategic cooperation between Russia and China… that the US was avoiding
Russia and China have good potential to continue and increase strategic cooperation and contacts to defend their interests, said Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission and member of China’s Politburo Wang Yi. “I think today we have very good possibilities to continue our close strategic dialogue and contacts to defend our common strategic interests,” he said in a meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Patrushev.
Wang Yi noted that Patrushev has been making efforts for strategic cooperation between the two countries for many years. “You have held 15 rounds of strategic security consultations with the Chinese side. We seriously contribute to the strengthening of strategic cooperation and the policy of mutual trust.
We highly appreciate you,” the Chinese official said. “China-Russia relations have a mature character and are stable, they will stand the tests of the changing international situation,” Wang Yi added. And all this at a time when the Americans are worried that the Chinese will give weapons to Russia to attack Ukraine. The paradox is that the US and 50 other countries can give weapons to Ukraine but third countries that do not side with the US are not allowed to supply the Russians with weapons.
4. Russia conducted a test of an intercontinental ballistic missile ‘Satan 2’ while US President Joe Biden was in Ukraine
The Americans consider this a provocative action. According to US sources, Russia notified the United States in advance of the Satan 2 launch over lines to prevent a collision, an official said.
