The environmental benefits of e-mobility are already apparent. However the benefits can be potentially increased and even translated into money from the return of electricity to the grid thanks to V2G technology.
Acquiring an electric vehicle in the near future is even more advantageous thanks to a well-known V2G technology: Vehicle-To-Grid, which allows owners of electric vehicles to use their car battery as a means of storing energy, which if they do not consume it , can return it to the mains, when there are increased needs and always with the undamaged. In short, thanks to this technology, owners of electric vehicles can, for example, charge their car, taking advantage of the usually lower energy values that apply throughout the European territory at night and with the help of smart chargers to redirect it to the network during hours, without of course worrying about the “emptying” of the battery since the whole process is manageable even remotely through corresponding software and from the Smartphone.

This technology is being tested on a large scale in many European countries at the initiative of both governments and the automotive industry. Note that in the very near future you will not necessarily need to switch to some kind of specialized charger, since the technology required is more about the software and settings of chargers and cars than hardware, since of course it is not a simple socket and provided that it is for home use, to install a type of meter, as is the case with photovoltaics.
Given this, one can easily understand that the infrastructure required for the use of this technology on a large scale can be created relatively easily and concerns both public charging points and household wallboxes. It should be noted that the car manufacturers have been manufacturing electric cars for years, having in the back of their minds the specific possibility, which is more and more often noted in the characteristics of electric models. In addition, the pilot application of this technology in countries such as Britain, Germany and Italy with the support of the state and the participation of energy providers and car manufacturers has already been crowned with tangible financial benefits for both owners and users of electric vehicles and for electricity providers and consumers, whether they own an electric vehicle or drive.
As for the latter, the mass use of technology can literally act as both a voltage regulator for the grid, stabilizing it and eliminating high or low voltage phenomena, thereby entailing or even preventing blackouts during peak hours in with regard to electricity consumption.
