Mayman Aerospace’s new creation takes flying thinking a step further, essentially being a flying motorcycle. There are many companies that engage in the sport of flying car development, however so far there has not been one that is engaged in the development of a flying device that is typical as an experience on a flying motorcycle. As it turns out, this is about to change as JetPack Aviation just unveiled an original version of a flying motorcycle that premiered at the Draper Venture Network in California (for more information please read the article titled “Speeder-The Flying Motorcycle“).
Speeder 2, as the prototype is called, evolved from the new Mayman Aerospace which was created precisely for the evolution of manned or non-manned drones of different sizes that can take off and land vertically
It has almost the same size as a motorcycle and a futuristic carbon fiber design that is dictated by aerodynamic needs, while the ergonomic position of the pilot has also been designed with the idea of not disturbing the aerodynamic balance of the whole. It can support up to eight jet engines running on sustainable SAF jet fuels.
As you can easily understand, safety is a priority for the construction equipped with a patented independent computer system which undertakes to balance the Speeder 2 in case of loss of power in one of the engines.
Hypothetically, according to the recommendations, the flying motorcycle is extremely easy to use as it is enough for someone to climb on it and press the relevant switch to take off. It also has a flexible design that can easily turn it into an unmanned autonomous or remote-controlled drone, expanding the options for its use.
Also according to the recommendations of JetPack Aviation, parent of Mayman Aerospace, the prototype is very close to production.
