UK: “Memory” of Global Management

The current British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is an unconventional and radical politician. A figure from those political figures that used to emerge sometimes, during different eras, the Tories party. Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher, respectively, were uncompromising political Radicals for the establishment of their time. Sizes of course of different caliber and specific weight, but also in different political eras. “Political caricatures” were also considered for the status quo of continental Europe.

Only at a crucial moment did they both express the “war spirit” of the British. This truly unique “property-spirit” of the citizens of the United Kingdom that only they know how to turn their passion into kerosene and thus fuel war victories.

Churchill during World War II, but also Thatcher in the Falklands War, but also in the meetings of the European Councils. Today, Boris Johnson, who led Britain’s exit campaign from the EU and then won a sweeping election victory, finalized the exit agreement from the European Union and began to enter a chaotic situation for our time.

When US President Joe Biden decided to launch a campaign against Russia, with the EU willingly complying with Washington’s instructions, with tough economic and other consequences, it seemed that the time had finally come for the “star” of the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Because it was the British Prime Minister who in 2021 drafted – before the war in Ukraine – the Security Pact (AUKUS) between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, provoking the reaction of China, USA’s biggest rival today.

It was also Boris Johnson who bilaterally guaranteed the security of Finland and Sweden vis-a-vis Russia until the two countries fully join NATO, when Article 5 on the Alliance’s immediate will apply military assistance in the event of a Russian attack.

From a political “caricature”, Johnson gradually began to transform into a necessary functional factor of the only Western superpower. Nowadays, Britain is no longer the empire in which “the sun never ate”. But also as a shadow of its past it is the only country that has exercised in the past and still retains a memory of global management. An element that Americans are still unaware of.

The spirit of independence, however, always remains. Thus, when Lord Frost was recently in the United States, he did not hesitate to warn President Joe Biden not to interfere in Northern Ireland and the EU, stressing that Britain “does not need the lectures of others”.
