Decoding the Policy to date of US President Donald John Trump-Part III

Since man has his health or his health problems can be addressed by giving him a good quality of life, then the supreme good of all the goods that man can have in his life is politics, not health. Because to offer solutions to the problems of your fellow human beings is considered the highest good, (Aristotle (384-322 B.C.)-The great Greek philosopher of antiquity).

The ways to “regenerate” and redefine politics in the liberal world and not only

In this Part III, of our analysis will present both the strategies to be implemented by the whole of the political world in order to bridge the existing gap between citizens and political parties, regenerating the very concept of politics in today’s societies, and the benefits that citizens and political parties will have from the application of these strategies.

As we mentioned in a previous paragraph in the current era, a large majority of citizens refrain from or abhor politics, and this is a sign that the political party programs are not convincing to the citizens.

This is mainly because any differences in the programs of the political parties have almost been eliminated and are almost identical to most of the issues dealt with, while any remaining differences are exclusively and only administrative character.

So, the fact that any differences in political parties have disappeared means that there is no fundamental conflict between the political parties in their programs and beliefs respectively.

This shows us that in every political party there is no one’s own perception of how a society should operate smoothly in order to achieve the common goal of social welfare, which social well-being should be diffused among all citizens irrespective of the size of their annual disposable income.

When we say the fight against political programs it means that political parties must have, and not necessarily, different positions and perceptions that will be transformed into solid beliefs.

These beliefs and perceptions will in turn result from answers to questions of the type about how to achieve a better functioning and structuring of society in areas such as health, taxation and public services, the organization of Government, education, social insurance, migration, investments, public order etc.

The answers that will be given to such questions will also be the ones on which the detailed programs of the political parties should be drawn up.

So, questions such as the type:

1. What is the difference between Republicans and Democrats in the health sector? Are these beliefs expressed by each party helping to ensure the proper functioning of society in order to achieve all together the common goal of social welfare?

If Yes, how this achieved? If No, what needs to be done and what policies should be implemented?

2. Who is for Democrats and Republicans respectively the axis of cohesion of American society and what is its “backbone” respectively? How will this social class of citizens be strengthened to pull the economy forward and what policies must be implemented?

If there are no convincing answers and arguments in this type of important questions, it is not possible for any political body to formulate solid political programs-social visions in all these areas to persuade citizens to participate with their vote in them.

It is all these detailed answers to this type of questions that shape the political identity of the parties and determine their perpetuation-existence in society.

However, in order to achieve these solid perceptions on the part of political parties, the political parties themselves, their representatives and not only, will must have direct contact and are aware of the problems and anxieties of the citizens. Drawing in this way from their citizens the real image which is existed every time in society.

Essentially, the answers to above mention questions should be able to inform them of the problems and the real situation that exists every time in society, information that should be given by all the citizens of a society. In this context we will propose a package of measures that should be implemented by the state-country at community, City, Metropolis, state and national territory equally.

The President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, in his attempt to solve the demands of the yellow vests’ movement, proposed to hold for two months the Great National Debate (GND) where the demands and anxieties of the French citizens will be recorded digitally and written-mainly in rural areas.

According to these documented requests for the problems will be decided on the measures to be implemented to meet the demands of the yellow vests’ movement.

This is a good basis for improving the model of liberal democracy as a means of governance. In my view, I believe that this process should be implemented in all liberal societies and that it should be a continuous perpetual process that should never be stopped and not be lasting for only two months as proposed to be applied in France (Eurozone/EU).

More specifically, with the continuous recording of citizens’ requests for the problems they face and their anxieties for the future there will always be a real, actual and continuous (and not static in time) picture of the problems of citizens at local, state, and national level respectively. These requests as they will then be recorded can be prioritized according to the incidence of.

Since this type of organization and registration of requests will be archived electronically and will have access to them, the representatives of the people at both local, state and national level (senators, MPs, mayors, regional leaders, local governors, party officials, election candidates, etc.) will be able to know directly and without the mediation of third parties (e.g. polling and research companies, media, local party executives, etc.) the real problems of citizens from the smallest community to the national level.

For example, the political leadership of a political party, without asking the local MP or the mayor or the state senator, will be able to know the problems of citizens from the smallest village to the largest city in a state. It will then be able to call on the local representatives of the citizens and jointly work out a program of proposals to be implemented to solve these problems.

At the same time the political leadership and the senior party bodies of a political party and having full knowledge of the problems of citizens at national level can and will have shaped their beliefs and perceptions of how the society must operate in order to achieve the common goal of achieving social well-being.

Based on these perceptions and beliefs they will then be able to accept suggestions and always due to the answers they will get in various questions in key areas of society (example of these questions we raised above) about which the best way is to solve these problems from local to national level.

In this way, a workable and very detailed political program will be able to cover in solutions most citizens’ demands-problems, which should also be the vision of the political party that then should contact the citizens to persuade them to participate with their vote on it.

In this way, substance programs are created, and political speeches are transformed into speeches of substance, on which political parties can be confronted in the political arena.

It is a crucial element, this process of registering citizens’ demands and problems to be on a stable and permanent basis. Because in this way citizens feel that they themselves are directly involved in the politics process and that they are also involved in the social part of their local, state and national society.

It is not possible for political rulers to appear before elections in their constituencies to ask for the vote of the people and then disappear and appear after four years to retake the vote of the citizens. These tactics create the removal and alienation of citizens-especially young people-from politics.

The evaluation and resolution of these requests/problems in solving them and at what stage is the resolution of these problems-and depending on their nature-should be done by completing a period of nine (9) months from the citizens and their political representatives in order to taken, if required by circumstances, structural movements to resolve them.

This process will work both ways in elections and in any party debates before national and generally any type of elections.

On the one hand, the mayoral candidates, congressmen, senators, etc. and the leaderships of the political parties that will seek the vote of the citizens will be bound to the voters with detailed proposals and concrete plans to solve these problems long before the national and any type of elections.

Then either win or lose the elections their relationship with the citizens will continue with two-way interaction to resolve these hierarchical problems by promoting them through the position that political rulers will hold in political institutions of their country.

On the other hand, the ruling party that will emerge from the elections by committing to these plans it has proposed before the elections will then be able to demand that the citizens of the country not only be judged in any upcoming elections based on the degree solving these problems and implementing the intended projects, but they will be able to demand as a majority during their governance the consensus and not to create disturbances in the economy and in society in order to achieve these objectives.

The benefits that will have both the citizens-voters and the political parties

The benefits of citizens and political parties from the process described above are:

1. The parties that will ask for the vote of the citizens should draw up detailed plans that will include the jointly set of solutions to these problems at both national and local level.

2. The need to draw up detailed plans for their political programs will force political parties to place in their human resources qualified technocrats (for drawing up detailed technical plans at local, state and national level), but also people who know first-hand the problems of citizens (especially at local level).

3. Full filtering of political parties is achieved by drastically reducing the existence of populist, opportunistic and liars in their ranks.

4. There is a direct, real and ongoing political link between political parties and citizens-voters.

5. The citizens from their position because of the constant updating, recording and control of solving their problems in the course of the four years that mediate elections in elections are directly involved in the political process and in the social concerns of their places, setting together common objectives to be achieved.

This will apply to the younger generations of citizens who have so far been abstaining or are turning politics off. In fact, with this process, citizens are actively involved in a society that cares for them, and they care, strengthening relations between them.

6. Gradual restoration of the relationship of trust between citizens and the political world and political parties. A drastic reduction in the abstention of citizens in elections, with the result that there are increased and more representative percentages for the electorate.

7. Drastic improvement and strengthening of the democratic regime and especially of the liberal democracy model as a means of governance.

This pioneering political process should be applied to any type of election-national, state, local, etc.-and should be established by resolutions in the Constitution of each country, as an electoral process.

Why the two major political parties in the US, Republican and Democratic respectively, are largely alienating as are the respective political parties in the EU by their citizens?

Why the current US President Donald John Trump’s “Make America Great Again” election slogan found preaching ears among US citizens and was voted the best candidate to re-incorporate a large percentage of frustrated US citizens in the US society?

The until today vaccinating policies in political and economic field will bear the anticipated results in economy of US?

These questions will be answered next week in the next and final part of our analysis “Decoding the policy to date of US President Donald John Trump-Part IV».
