US vs China: Joe Biden in Footsteps of Donald Trump

USs choice to halt China through the announcement of AUKUS alliance and second in US history after US President`s Nixon USSR halt with the then-strategic partner to be China, shows that it is Joe Biden’s top international priority.

After all, defending US national interests in the Pacific Ocean known as the Asian Pivot is part of the Barack`s Obama Presidency inherited from current US President Joe Biden, downplaying the importance of the “old world” for the United States interests.

Joe Biden is steadfast in this policy even if it means to provoke “collateral damages” among US allies.

AUKUS alliance is heartbreaking for France and in extension for the European Union due to the cancellation of the huge submarine order (12) from Australia.

Joe Biden immediately adopted the same strong-will as his predecessor Donald Trump against China. The difference between Donald Trump`s and Joe Biden’s tenure equally is that in the first months of his tenure, Joe Biden appeared to have a respectful attitude towards the European Union and NATO with his efforts to focus on building among European Union and United States of America a common front against China.

But the US withdrawal from Afghanistan created the opportunity for a new US come back on the world geopolitical chess board.

US interests at the moment favor alliances that move on geoplitical sphere depending on what US interests are each time. In this case the EU comes second and should get used to that its relations with the US from now on will miror every time of how US are treated China.
