Gagosian gallery in Rome is pleased to present new paintings by Stanley Whitney. Originally scheduled to open in April, but delayed by the pandemic, this is his first exhibition with the gallery and his first major exhibition in Rome, where he lived for five years during the 1990s. It features paintings produced both in New York and in the artist’s studio near Parma, Italy.

Whitney’s vibrant abstract paintings unlock the linear structure of the grid, imbuing it with new and unexpected cadences of color, rhythm, and space. Whitney born in Philadelphia (USA) in 1946.

LIVERPOOL (UK)

Linda McCartney Retrospective

This major exhibition of Linda McCartney’s photography includes more than 200 iconic images, from the music scene of the 1960s, to family life with Paul. It is presented in one of Liverpool’s most famous galleries, the Walker Art Gallery, the so-called National Gallery of the North. Linda McCartney captured with her photographs the spirit of the ’60s and ’70s in a way that was feeling and completely personal.
