Are They the Winning Duo (Biden-Harris)? Will be Kamala Harris the First Female Vice & President of the United States Equally?

The Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, selected the American lawyer, politician and member of the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, as his candidate and Vice President.

Kamala Harris, who has been the rising star of the Democrats, has been California Senator since 2017 and previously served as California’s 32nd attorney general from 2011 to 2017 and as San Francisco’s attorney general from 2004 to 2011. This is the first time that a black woman has claimed such a high office as a candidate of one of the two major parties of power.

The chain events and rallies following the death of the unfortunate George Floyd, who turned into violent clashes with the police, certainly played an important role in Joe Biden’s decision to offer her the specific position next to him. Of course, her selection decision is based, among other things, on the strong influence of powerful grassroots movements such as #ΜεΤοο, and Black Lives Matter on the American political scene.

If the duo Joe Biden-Kamala Harris wins the American elections in November 2020, then Kamala Harris will slowly and steadily begin to run for the U.S. Presidency perhaps much sooner than the next U.S. Election in November 2024. More specifically, the decision of the American political and economic elites is for the U.S. to have a worthy female President.

This could not have been possible in this November election, since Elizabeth Warren (the strongest female candidate for the Democrats) failed to win the Democratic presidential nomination from the much more popular and likeable segment of the American electorate, Joe Biden.

Joe Biden’s likely election victory in next November’s election will make him the oldest US President. Given his old age, it is certain that he will not be able to fully fulfil the duties of the President, especially when it comes to US foreign policy, where he will have to travel frequently to other countries.

In this case, it is quite possible that after one or two years of presidential service Joe Biden will be forced to resign as President of the United States due to old age with all the necessary honors to accompany him in this case and to replace him in the U.S. Presidency Kamala Harris.

Then Kamala Harris will have the opportunity as President of the United States to roll out her policy and prepare for her election campaign to successfully and re-claim the US Presidency in the November 2024 elections. Within the next four years, the US will have a female President for the first time in its history.

Joe  Biden’s political choice of Vice Presidential nominee was predictable without political risks but also fully intelligent given that Joe Biden chose his toughest intra-party opponent as vice presidential candidate, applying the political saying “keep your powerful intra-party political enemies always close to you and your political opponents against you.” A political strategy successfully implemented by the great American politician Abraham Lincoln with his powerful intra-party opponents.

At the same time, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris belong to the moderate centrist wing of the Democrats, making it even easier for the Joe Biden not to have strong intra-party opposition in the future.

The fact that the anger of progressive in political terms voters from both the Republican and Democratic establishment respectively is too great against current US President Donald Trump has also influenced Joe Biden’s decision on Kamala Harris’ face.

In any case, Kamala Harris manages to rally in her face the votes of the colored community in all fifty (50) American states, increasing the chances of Democrats winning elections in “difficult” electoral states; this will only be achieved if the total abstention of black voters remains at very low levels.

Joe  Biden has so far been ahead in the polls and is expected to continue to lead with Kamala Harris at his side, but that doesn’t mean that he should be complacent because US political history in terms of the results of the US election has shown many twists at the last minute. The Democratic party will rally around the duo of its candidates, giving every possible help to win the election.

For his part, Donald Trump hopes to find an effective vaccine for Covid-19 soon by presenting it as a victory for his presidency’s efforts. In addition, he will be waiting for Joe Biden in the TV debates in the hope of changing the polling in his favour.

But the unpredictable Donald Trump can “hit” Joe Biden by applying his choices to his vice-presidential nominee. In other words, he should also choose a white woman as a vice-presidential candidate. Then he will have managed to divide the United States politically and socially in two.
