In any case, Kurdish fighters heavily armed with US weapons have long been transferred to bases near the Koniko and al-Omar oil fields from areas of Syria controlled by the PKK/YPG.
The members who make up the force of 1,000 Kurdish fighters come from the Sanadid force, an all-Arab elite group serving the PKK/YPG.
But the US forces were not limited to simply transporting the specific Kurdish fighters, but also made sure to send a huge convoy of about 100 combat vehicles and trucks with various types of ammunition to the specific bases which they turned into fortresses by deploying anti-aircraft arrays.
Just a few days ago a group of American helicopters flying from an Iraqi base transported military personnel to the Rumeylan base in Hassakeh, which was not just a coincidence!
