Fierce Russian-Ukrainian clashes in the East – Nearly 60 battles on one front

Ukraine said there were no signs Russian military pressure was easing along its eastern front inside its borders today, more than a week after it invaded Russia, and spoke of the heaviest fighting in weeks near Pokrovsk.

Military spokesman Dmytro Likovii said Russia has moved some troops from the occupied Ukrainian south to other areas, but this does not constitute a major redeployment for now.
