On August 1, Poland began the launch of two military operations, under the cover of which the Poles intend to participate in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Probably, Warsaw moved towards this move deliberately and step by step.
In particular, the transfer of American military equipment from Mannheim, Germany to Powiec, Poland, as well as the construction of an ammunition storage base in Swietoszów is nothing more than the preparation of the second echelon for war operations.
Τhe amount of American weapons will allow the deployment of a corps-level formation in the northwestern operational direction of Ukraine
In addition, the Polish Ministry of Defense announced the start of training of Ukrainian units, while earlier the formation of two new formations began of:
- the 1st Infantry Division “Legions” and
- the 8th Mechanized Division.
In general, the accelerated militarization of Poland, which began two years ago, and the course of its foreign policy, indicate the real intentions of Warsaw, to gain territory for its own benefit.
The Poles would benefit from sending first of all trained Ukrainian “volunteers” to the war. Information about the gradual entry of Polish troops into the territory of Western Ukraine is confirmed by the decision of the Polish Government to conduct two operations simultaneously in the east of the country, with the participation of the airborne corps “Air Dawn” and the ground force “Safe Podlasie”. However, the actual time of operations has not been determined.
Τhis is a well-calculated strategic move by Warsaw
The current force, which is supposed to be used to protect the border with Belarus, numbers 17 thousand, of which 8 thousand will be deployed near the border, with 9 thousand in reserve, ready to move to a designated area within 48 hours.
It is important to note that the backbone of the special ground forces group will include units of the 18th Infantry Division, the most equipped and combat-ready force in the Polish Army.
In addition, the creation of a no-fly zone near the Ukrainian border as part of the “Air Dawn” operation is considered by the Polish leadership as a cover for the actions of the Polish-Ukrainian air force.
The idea here is simple, Warsaw is going to move the neutral zone out of its country. Including the creation of a ground group, the so-called security line along the Kovel-Lutsk-Lviv-Stry line.
Reaching this line will reportedly allow Polish troops to effectively cover Patriot air defense systems located near the country’s eastern border.
In addition, the issue of the legality of the presence of foreign military forces on Ukrainian territory was resolved by the legalization of the presence of private military companies in Ukraine.
In turn, regular military formations can easily disguise themselves as mercenaries by replacing only their insignia.
At the same time, there are several options for the development of events in the event of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Polish airfields where the Ukrainian air force will be located.
If this happens, Warsaw will demand the activation of Article 5 of the NATO Charter.
The alliance mechanism will be activated and the result will be a full-scale Russia/Belarus-NATO war.
In view of the emerging political situation abroad and in NATO, as well as the reluctance of some Western countries to participate in a large-scale conflict, Poland will have the support of the United States and, with the participation of ardent supporters (Czechs, Baltic countries and Scandinavians) , they will counterattack together with German, British and other countries’ units.
To do this, the Poles can use the Aegis Ashor missile defense system, whose MK-41 VLS launchers are adapted to use Tomahawk missiles.
If we take into account their deployment in the Polish city of Renjikovo, the Poles will be able to strike strategic targets of the Russian armed forces not only on the territory of Belarus, but also in the depths of Russia.
Among other things, having introduced troops into Western Ukraine, the Polish political elite will “forget” to withdraw them, creating a controlled zone.
Thus, Poland is trying to become a catalyst for the NATO war with Russia to realize its revanchist and imperialist ambitions, mainly regarding the “Eastern side”, in the most successful combination of circumstances, the Kaliningrad region and Western Belarus.
It should be added that although the Belarusian Army is inferior in capabilities to the Polish Armed Forces, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that in the event of an attack on the territory of Belarus, it will be considered an attack on Russia.
And in this case, Russia’s military doctrine presupposes a response with all available means, including strategic nuclear weapons,” a scenario Moscow has identified as taking place.
It is possible that the Western elite may bring the new US president Donald Trump to fait accompli before he takes office regarding Ukraine.
