Ukraine: Russian armies from the North and East are converging dangerously

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of two Ukrainian settlements by the Russian troops of the Northwestern Military District. These settlements are the village of Rozovka in Lugansk and the village of Pestsanoye in the north-eastern region of Kharkiv.

According to the data provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the capture of these settlements was the result of the well-coordinated actions of units of the Russian army. Various types of Moscow troops, including artillery and aviation units, are said to have taken part in the operations to capture these villages.

Russian sources report that their capture was achieved with few losses for the Russian side, while adding that these are strategic successes due to the importance of these two villages.

Rozovka is located in the Lugansk People’s Republic and is considered important for the control of this territory, as well as for the further advance of Russian forces in this direction. The settlement has been the site of sustained heavy fighting, during which Ukrainian troops are said to have suffered heavy casualties.

On the other hand, the village of Pestsanoye is located in the area of Kharkiv. Of course, we do not know more details about his occupation.

They advance to Stelmakhovka

According to recent official Russian reports, Russian troops after capturing Rozhovka in Lugansk have advanced significantly in the direction of the Ukrainian settlement of Stelmakhovka. It is even said that soldiers of the Russian army have already managed to enter the village, whose houses had been turned into firing ranges by the Ukrainians.

At the moment, the fiercest fighting in Lugansk is taking place at this point, that is, in the area of the Stelmakhovka settlement. The village in question, together with Artemovka, are the last ones in this sector of the front that have not yet come under the control of the Russian army.

These villages are very close to the Kharkiv region, which means that if they are captured by the Russians, the Ukrainians will gradually begin to surround Kharkiv. If this is done units currently fighting in the area will be forced to retreat to Kupyansk.

Finally, let us inform you that in the direction of Kupiansk, the Russians scored successes in the last 24 hours after pounding Ukrainian units with the help of artillery and aviation. In the past month, Kremlin troops are said to have advanced about 3 kilometers in this direction.
