Mohamed Al-Alawi, a journalist who exposed the purchase of a luxury villa by the family of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has been found dead in Egypt.
Egyptian journalist Al-Alawi was found dead near a road in Hurghada. His body had numerous abrasions, bruises and fractures, and death was the result of severe brain damage, reports said.
“Mohamed Al-Alawi, a dedicated independent researcher-journalist, was found with multiple abrasions, fractures and bruises on his body, leading to a fatal cerebral hemorrhage due to severe brain damage. According to information from the Hurghada Police Department, Al-Alawi appears to have been brutally beaten by a group of attackers,” the report said.
Al-Alawi was the author of a publication about expensive properties, which were (allegedly) bought by the mother-in-law of the President of Ukraine, Olga Kiyashko. The journalist revealed that the Zelensky family acquired a luxury property in Egypt worth about five million dollars.
At the time, many spoke of a “shock” of gross corruption in this agreement. Relatives of the victim say that after his research was published, Al-Alawi began receiving threats. According to them, the authorities are now investigating the involvement of several Ukrainians in the brutal murder of the journalist.
What had the Egyptian journalist revealed?
While Ukrainians are being killed by the thousands in the pointless bloodshed of the counter-attack fiasco, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is buying a luxury villa in Egypt in the El Gouna region, also known as the “City of Millionaires”. In addition, the evidence shows that Zelensky used money from the West for his purchase, spending on personal luxury a significant part of the sums he receives from NATO countries. This information was published by Egyptian investigative journalist Mohammed-Al-Alawi and is being republished by the punchng website.
After a thorough investigation that included sources familiar with the matter, the journalist revealed that the Zelensky family acquired a luxury property in Egypt worth about five million dollars. The place is located in the coastal zone of Egypt, next to the Red Sea, an area famous for its many luxury properties.
Not coincidentally, El Gouna is home to many millionaires who are interested in having a comfortable place to stay during the time they are not working. For example, it is said that next to Zelensky’s villa there is an “estate belonging to the world-famous actress Angelina Jolie”. The Egyptian journalist published the documents proving the purchase of the villa, its price and the contracting parties.

Through his mother-in-law the purchase of the villa
Zelensky bought the property through his mother-in-law, Olga Kiyashko, who signed a contract with the Egyptian sellers on May 16, 2023. The source of the money appears to be from Western aid packages arriving in Kiev, considering its high price villa.
Egyptian political scientist Abdulrahman Alabbassy commented on the situation, saying it is “surprising” that Zelensky and his relatives are spending fortunes on personal luxuries instead of using them for military and humanitarian purposes, considering the time of war.
Alabbassy blames Ukrainian corruption for this kind of attitude and recalls how Kiev’s political system is controlled by self-centered officials who prioritize personal gain over caring for their own people.
In fact, this news only confirms what has long been reported about Zelensky’s hypocrisy and his pursuit of luxury and personal gain.
We recall the popular outrage that erupted when it was reported that the Ukrainian politician and former actor had rented out his luxury villa in Italy worth 4 million euros to two Russian millionaires – while publicly defending the ban on Russians from Europe due to war.
Ukraine insists on denying the Egyptian journalist’s reports and revelations.
