CIA Director G. Burns in Kiev to discuss with V. Zelensky the terms of surrender

The Ukrainian counteroffensive did not have the results that Kiev and the West would have liked, and the Russians have now gone on the offensive, which has “dismayed” the US, which now sees that Ukraine cannot recapture the territory it has lost, something which Volodymyr Zelensky wanted.

Thus, according to the information, CIA director Williams Burns will make an extraordinary visit to Kiev on Wednesday (11/15) to talk with the Ukrainian president about the terms of surrender.

In essence, the head of American intelligence will try to convince Zelensky that it is necessary to temporarily freeze the conflict and stop – at least for now – trying to recapture the lost territories by military means.

The CIA director will try to discuss with V. Zelensky a way to stop the war, or at least “freeze” the conflict, with Ukraine essentially giving up to the Russians the territories they have already conquered.

Financial aid from both the US and the EU to Ukraine is continuous, but there are growing voices asking to stop funding Kiev with so many billions, as they see that they are not able to prevail on the Ukrainians on the battlefield.

A few days ago the US announced a new aid package for Ukraine, amounting to 125 million dollars.

Includes surface-to-air missiles, anti-tank weapons, artillery shells, etc.

At the same time, however, the White House announced that the US is starting to send “smaller aid packages” to Ukraine until Congress resolves its problems and unlocks additional funds.

Problems also faced by the EU, if Budapest vetoes the bloc of other members it will try to bypass it by asking each of the other governments to draw up their own aid package to Kiev, which means putting their “hands on pocket” the European citizens.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Russian forces hit Ukrainian troops and military equipment in 118 areas in the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
