As the increase in the expectancy of people’s lives increases, the cost of public expenditure of the states directed towards citizens’ healthcare is increasing at the same time. On the other hand, it is constantly accelerating and the evolution of technology with the technology of artificial intelligence to be the crowning of this evolution.
The use of artificial intelligence is expected to improve the life of mankind in a super positive way. It can contribute not only to improving healthcare but also to healthy finances.

The applications of artificial intelligence to healthcare
The parameters that determine the offer of artificial intelligence in the strengthening of deep knowledge and learning are the following three:
- Processing power (10000 times increased from 2000)
- Storage costs (3000 times reduced from 2000)
- Data development (rising rapidly from 2010)
Britain’s National Health System (NHS) is the world’s largest health service provider as it serves around 53 million patients and makes 15 million diagnoses a year. The application of artificial intelligence in British NHS gives faster, cheapest and more accurately diagnoses.

Anticipating in this way pathologies, through accurate diagnoses-eliminating the case of a wrong diagnosis-doctors in Britain manage to prevent the occurrence of epidemics in the population. On the other hand, the new digital system of NHS which is based on AI operates 14 times faster than the previous equivalent system, achieving great savings.
Robotic surgery assisted by the artificial intelligence (AI), the digital instruments, the increased and virtual reality in surgery, the surgical tele-presentation, the surgery with guided picture e.g. the laparoscopic and robotic surgery equally have ensure patients’ less pain, less recovery time, fewer complications and fewer marks on their bodies.
At the same time the AI resolves many and chronic problems that occur generally in the services of the healthcare sector such as shortage of doctors, misdiagnosis, effective health care systems etc.
In gene medicine and in the study of DNA in general required processing and analysis of huge data size that no human mind and conventional computer can process but with the help of the use of AI can be achieved any analysis.
Given these achievements one country will be able to collect the DNA of its entire adult population through a self-funded program where every citizen could pay a symbolic amount for the basic analysis of his DNA.
The analysis of this data will then be possible to apply a practical application to public healthcare system in which the first examination to be submitted by the patient will be purely genetic.
Since the first examination of the patient will be genetic type and through the analysis of various variables it can be predicted the occurrence of various diseases even ten years before the first symptoms. For example, they will be able to predict very accurately the occurrence of breast cancer in women and prostate in men respectively by the presence of specific variables in their genomes.
In this way they can start dealing much earlier and cheaper. They can still distinguish and categorize women in those who have an exceptionally small chance of developing breast cancer, so that they do not do mammography every year but in two or three years, saving resources from the Health care system.
The same applications could find fertile soil in diseases of type 2 diabetes, in cardiac complications and for other about 25 cases. On the other hand, through the DNA of a newborn will be able to estimate the height it will have when adulthood avoiding in this way the healthcare system to engage in costly hormonal therapies.
Without the application of the AI, none of this would have been possible prove us that the technology is in the service of human!!!!!
