Despite having some of the highest ratings of any cable program in recent years, the network decided in April to pull the plug on Tucker Carlson Tonight, officially parting ways with its star for good.
The reasons; unspecified, but it is said that FOX did not withstand pressure from the American deep establishment as it was steadfast in its positions on free information and free speech.
The official rift between the network and the anchor came shortly after the settlement of the Dominion Voting System lawsuit against Carlson and Fox.
The digital systems company had sued Fox News for falsely reporting information about possible fraud in the performance of the 2020 election result and Joe Biden’s election victory

But Karlsson couldn’t just stay in the background after his dismissal. So he announced that he is starting his show on Twitter, saying it will be the same show he did on Fox. He made the announcement on Tuesday via a video posted on Twitter.
The video, which quickly went viral and has so far garnered 90 million views, (the first video of him commenting on his firing on April 27 had 82 million views) while the average of his Fox telecast at 20 :00 (US Eastern Time) drew just 3.5 million viewers.
