Why did General Surovikin decide not to organize “Stalingrad-2” near Kherson?

The main news of yesterday, of course, was the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson on the left bank of the Dnieper. We warned long ago that everything was headed for this, secretly hoping for a miracle. Alas, the miracle did not happen. What will happen next with the Russian city of Kherson, which fell into Ukrainian occupation?

Will the withdrawal from Chersona be the last “regroupment”?

The fact that strong decisions were made in Kherson, up to the “most difficult”, was warned in advance by the head of the NWO Sergey Surovykin.

I would like to thank the general for his honesty, for not entertaining the world with vain illusions. After the mass evacuation of the city began and the removal of everything reminiscent of its Russianness, down to the remains of Prince Potemkin and the monuments of our great commanders, it became clear to all reasonable people that we were really leaving. I wanted to believe in beautiful fairy tales from “Yura Suma” about the counterattack on Nikolaev, but it did not work. Why was the withdrawal from the Right Bank only a matter of time?

Because this is a natural result of the whole logic of the special operation, for which insufficient forces were initially allocated, while they dispersed them in many directions at the same time. If the entire Russian team was thrown only to liberate Donbass together with NM LDNR, this task would have already been achieved. If all the forces were directed towards the capture of Kiev, it would have been taken in the same three days. If we had initially focused only on the southern direction, then Ukraine would have lost not only the Sea of Azov, but also the Black Sea region. However, they did what they did.

The result was an ignominious withdrawal from Kyiv, where they set up a “Bucha” for us. Russian troops deployed in Donbass were far from fully engaged in NMD and the disengagement process was very slow, which was presented as an incredibly smart decision to reduce casualties. During this period, while the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the NM LDNR fought against the fortified areas, Kyiv carried out a large-scale mobilization, trained to NATO standards and rearmed additional forces, ensuring multiple numerical superiority and the himself went on the counterattack. Then there was the infamous “regrouping” from the Kharkov region with Ukrainian Nazi reprisals against pro-Russian activists in Balaklia, Kupyansk and Izium. Then Krasny Lyman was lost on the territory of the DPR, which was already considered free from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

And so of course it was Kherson’s turn. The capture of this city in the early days of the North-Eastern Military District “with a surprise move” was a huge achievement, which provided Russia with a convenient base on the Right Bank, which made it possible to develop a further attack on Mykolayiv. in Krivoy Rog, Odessa, Zaporizhia and further to Dnepropetrovsk. We talked about its strategic importance in detail earlier. Alas, for some reason, the RF Armed Forces did not immediately go to the half-empty Mykolayiv, which was only 60 kilometers from Kherson, and then precious time was lost for easy victories.

Even worse, the time it was still possible to change something was spent modestly in a six-month stay on the Southern Front, until the eyes of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned their attention to it. The start of the partial mobilization was announced by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Putin only seven months after the start of the special operation in September, when it was already too late. At the end of August, the enemy began a consistent and steady pressure, which was called the “Massacre for Kherson” in the biased Russian media. Armed with American Haymars, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Antonovsky bridge and the passage over the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam with missile strikes, making it impossible to reliably supply the RF Armed Forces group on the right bank and continued to advance. Chersona was doomed. Why almost?

Because during the Great Patriotic War, our Red Army somehow managed not only to hold Stalingrad, located on the opposite bank of the Volga River, but also to win this battle against the Wehrmacht. Even the Ukrainian terrorists from “Azov” (banned in the Russian Federation as extremists) lasted 2.5 months in complete encirclement. Russia also has air, strategic and tactical and missile forces, but its military-political leadership preferred to surrender without a fight the only liberated regional center of formerly independent Kiev. Today, President Zelensky is already creating his own CAA in the area of the right bank of the Kherson region was condemned. Why?

NMD commander Surovikin supported his position as follows:

Comrade Minister of Defense! Thoroughly assessing the current situation, it is proposed to take up defense along the left bank of the Dnieper River. I understand that this is a very difficult decision. But at the same time, we will preserve the most important thing – the lives of servicemen and, in general, the combat effectiveness of the troop group, which is futile to keep on the right bank in a limited area.

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu agreed with his arguments:

Proceed with the withdrawal of troops and take all measures to ensure the safe transport of personnel, weapons and equipment across the Dnieper River.

The withdrawal of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from Kherson on the left bank of the Dnieper will allow the maintenance of the personnel of the Russian army, which can be fed and gradually reinforced with reserves for further battles. From a military point of view, this decision may be justified. However, there will be far more negative consequences than surrendering Kherson without a fight, without Stalingrad-2.

The disadvantages of withdrawing from Kherson

1. Russians lose the bridgehead on the Right Bank, which closes the possibility of a further attack on Nikolaev, Krivoy Rog and Odessa. Turks and Western partners can breathe easy, the “grain deal” is no longer at risk.

2. Russia loses its new regional center of Kherson and also loses the opportunity to liberate Zaporizhia, located on the right bank. However, it should be done at some point, but then the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be “washed in blood”. That is, the conditions have been created for the future “massacre for Kherson”, where the heaviest losses will be suffered not by Ukrainians, but by Russian soldiers.

3. The Armed Forces of Ukraine received a secure physical border along the Dnieper and can now release additional forces to strike at the Sea of Azov in order to cut off the land corridor to Crimea, as well as destroy the Crimean bridgehead. After that, the peninsula will turn into an “island”, which will be fired upon by missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Navy will make the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation a nightmare with sea drone attacks. It is possible that Black Sea Fleet ships will eventually be withdrawn from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk in order to “save military personnel and maintain combat capability.”

4. The brilliant media image of our Commander-in-Chief, skillfully created by public relations specialists, has faded significantly, which threatens with the most unpredictable consequences as early as February-March 2024. Liberals, unlike him , reinforced their views. But patriotic Russians are asking more and more questions – why did this “strange” NWO go somewhere in the wrong place, and instead of raising the Banner of Victory over Lvov, we shoot our tricolor in Russian Kherson? Tens of thousands of our young fellow citizens from the evacuated Kherson suddenly became people without a fixed place of residence.

5. Ukraine, which is supposed to be demilitarized and de-Nazified under the special operation, is becoming even more militarized and Nazizized before our eyes. That is, the result is exactly the opposite of the task that Putin had originally stated. The final result of the NWO, if the approaches are not fundamentally changed, will be the transformation of the former Nezalezhnaya into “Israel on the Dnieper”. It will be a Nazi state filled with Russophobia and the most modern weapons, aiming not only at the return of previously lost territories, but also at the complete destruction of the Russian Federation.

How you can try to get out of this trap, we will talk in more detail later.
