NATO is disbanded for the sake of AUKUS and the Joint EU Armed Forces

AUKUS is a new NATO in the Pacific-Indian Ocean region against China. France was a member country of the European Union leading the creation of a Euroarmy and a Joined Armed Forces for the EU. Given this plan by France and the fact that the President of France Emmanuel Macron called NATO “brain-dead” the Anglo-Saxons countries are building their own Alliance (AUKUS).

NATO has been irreparably hurt by the selfish interests of some countries. AUKUS is the union of Anglo-Saxon countries against China as NATO was once against USSR. The only difference now is that both the creation of the Joint EU Armed Forces as AUKUS will worsen European-American relations.

China after the announcement of AUKUS and as China is the Australia’s largest trading partner will drastically reduce economic ties with the Australia. France now leads EU to pursue a course of “strategic autonomy” with less dependent on US technology and its military forces. This is where the creation of the Joint EU Armed Forces coming in. On the other hand, the United States is extremely dissatisfied with the position of the EU (mainly through Germany) for its reapproachment with China, and given that EU-China do not have contradicted interests as US-China.

This event was sealed with the investment agreement of the EU-China in December 2020. The US is pushing the EU to not accept China’s 5G technology while the EU does not accept to adopt policies against Chinese Technologies. The fact that US did not call the EU to participate in AUKUS Alliance shows that they do not trust the EU in terms of position that EU will hold in the event of a US-China military conflict.

It is certain that both Japan and South Korea along with Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan, will join the new alliance (AUKUS) later.
