The Taliban’s unhindered advance into the Afghan capital, Kabul, has forced the United States and other NATO nations to evacuate their embassies in Kabul. Five thousand American soldiers along with British Paratroopers of the 16th Airborne Brigade remained in Kabul until the last Western citizen left the airport.
The President and the First Vice President of the Western-backed Afghan government have left the country along with other government officials. There is a situation like the abandonment of Saigon (1975) by the USA in the Vietnam War, only in this case it includes all NATO countries.

It is immediately apparent that the United States has spent more than $ 1 trillion over twenty years, and as a result judging, to maintain the state of Afghanistan for the sole purpose of enabling specific defense / armaments companies to be able to offer their products and services.
The hasty abandonment of embassies by their staff indicates that NATO and the United States got up and left without first reaching an agreement with the emerging Taliban, causing panic among Afghans and millions of refugees to other countries.
The Taliban have vowed not to attack foreign forces as they withdraw but have not agreed to a ceasefire with the Afghan government. The Taliban’s commitment to negotiate peace with the government has not materialized, as they have overwhelming military superiority.
