The fact that the Social Democrat Minister of Finance of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has “polluted” against the President of the European Commission, Von der Leyen, with the German newspaper “Bild” acting as a supportive “artillery” against the Commission with the side objective of Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakidou but with the real aim of the President of the European Commission shows the tense nerves prevailing in the political world of Germany.

The most historic Stateswoman that Europe must show in its political history, Angela Merkel, does not intend to claim a fifth term (very wrong according to the opinion of the Liberal Globe) and that is why the “knives” have come out of the sheaths as to who will prevail in the field of the leadership of the Christian Democrats and who will claim Angela Merkel’s position.
The German newspaper with its poisonous publications tries to shift the responsibilities of the German Minister of Health, Jens Span, and candidate for Angela Merkel’s position, from him to the European Commission and to the Commissioner responsible for Health, to mitigate the difficult events regarding vaccination in Germany, and the increased number of deaths and cases.
So, the purpose of these publications highlights Jens Span’s disagreement with Chancellor Angela Merkel over the common European solution to the supply and distribution of vaccines, with Jens Span arguing that he preferred each country to handle it on its own.
Of course, Jens Span does not think as a European and does not think of the EU as one country but only divides the EU with its attitude. French President Emmanuel Macron and Chancellor Angela Merkel have rightly supported the President of the European Commission in her handling.
If the EU leadership had not negotiated batches of vaccines on behalf of all its member countries, the member countries would have eliminated each other in a health war and the division between them would have been great.
The eating of who will be charged the responsibility-of any management deficiencies that of course existed in this project-all it manages is to fuel Euroscepticism.
The unacceptable behaviour of the Leadership of the European Union increases the anti-systemic mistrust of citizens by making them believe that the EU leadership is not capable of adequately protecting the health of its citizens. These behaviors should stop.
The Christian Democrats, although ahead in the polls, have the fear of the post-Merkel era and are trying in every way to protect their candidates who they believe will keep them at the top.
The Social Democrats are stuck at 15% with the Greens increasing their popularity and power by jumping from a decent 20%. It is highly likely that only the Christian Democrats and the Greens will participate in the next governing coalition, or if there is a “shock” to the Christian Democrats then the government will have Greens in the Chancellery with the Social Democrats and the Left participating in the government.
The Social Democrats are attacking Von der Leyen for trying to increase their rates against the Greens.
