Civil War Images in the US

The Confederate flag (confederate flag in the American Civil War) arrived in the U.S. Capitol building, which never happened even during the American Civil War (1861-1865).

The scenes referencing memories of the civil war in the US are due to the climax of the political “war” between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, resulting in the Capitol being besieged by protesters.

Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser has put the US capital under a state of emergency for a fortnight, following scenes of chaos and unprecedented images that unfolded as Donald Trump supporters invaded the Capitol. The state of emergency will take effect until the day after Joe Biden’s inauguration.

On the other hand, the list of dead in the US after Donald Trump supporters invaded the Capitol before Joe Biden’s election was ratified. In addition to the woman who died because of a shooting inside the Capitol during the invasion of Donald Trump supporters, three other people have died in the last few hours, according to D.C. police.  CNN reports that several police officers have been injured on Capitol Hill, and at least one has been taken to hospital.

Since US President Donald Trump’s message, views that characterise the President’s divisive and demented behaviour have begun to grow and call for his immediate removal from the presidency.

This can be done if the Vice President and most of the Cabinet decide (invoking the 25th amendment to the Constitution) that, for whatever reason, the President has become unfit to exercise the powers and duties of the office and sends a letter to Congress to that effect, then the Vice President becomes Deputy President and remains so, unless Congress refuses to allow the transfer of power.

But it was Vice President Mike Pence, not President Donald Trump, who ordered the deployment of the militia.

Joe Biden, in a dramatic speech, asked Donald Trump to go on television to declare allegiance to the Constitution. The Senate ratified the result of the November 3, 2020 elections.

What is certain is that Donald Trump destroyed by dividing the Republican party, divided the people of the United States, while the Democratic party is under attack in its offices and in its executives.
