The “climate change” community treats every heat wave, forest fire, flood, or glacier as proof that humans are controlling the earth’s thermostat.
But the earth’s climate has always been changing and will always be changing. Ice ages, warm spells, and cold centuries have come and gone long before electric cars and carbon taxes.
The almost exclusive, single largest factor has always been the Sun, the source of almost all the energy that warms our planet.
Small changes in solar output, solar flare cycles, and related effects on clouds and oceans have repeatedly moved the thermostat dial.
Weather has always been and always will be a short-term mess. A hot summer or a wild storm say absolutely nothing about the climate in the long term. Climate is the decades-long pattern determined by the Sun’s energy budget.
Blaming carbon dioxide for every weather event is tantamount to ignoring the reality of the Sun and turning natural variation into a moral crisis.
Carbon dioxide is not the master thermostat switch. By elevating CO2 above the Sun, you are downgrading the star that actually powers the system. And the system has proven to remain stable over time.
Climate change and scientific research on it is not an ideological issue, although some try to make it so with their hysterical reports of the end of the world and other related scary scenarios.
We should not ignore that this hysteria helps to dynamically promote alternative forms of fuel and energy that conceal huge economic interests. The trading of CO2 securities or derivatives by Goldman Sachs and BlackRock banks brings huge profits to international financial interests. It is no coincidence that the UN climate commission IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) is financed by the “Rockefeller Brothers Fund”.
Obviously protecting the environment is a matter of responsibility. However, climate change is largely caused by the Sun, which we cannot control and which has nothing to do with human intervention or the increase in carbon dioxide.
