A different side of the eternal musical enigma Björk is being revealed to the public as she opens a new art exhibition at the National Gallery of Iceland, more reminiscent of a theatrical experience. Titled “Echolalia,” the exhibition consists of three immersive installations, the first of which will offer a glimpse into the artist’s upcoming album. The remaining two works, Ancestress and Sorrowful Soil, are dedicated to Björk’s mother, an environmental activist who passed away in 2018.
