US F-22 Raptor shot down and crashed in Kuwait, watch video

A US F-22 Raptor fighter jet was shot down and crashed on Monday morning in Kuwait.

According to videos posted on X, the pilots activated the safety balloons and were rescued upon landing on the ground.

Initial estimates indicate that the plane was shot down by friendly fire while the US fighter jet was flying over Kuwait as part of an operation to locate and shoot down enemy drones

The videos show the twin-engine fighter jet moving uncontrollably before hitting the ground.

According to information, the fighter jet crashed 10 kilometers from the US base Ali Al Salem in Kuwait.

In another post on X, the pilot is seen raising his hands shortly after landing.

For the time being, there has been no official confirmation from the United States Air Force regarding the cause of the crash or the condition of the other crew members.
