A Huge Russian missile depot was hit by Ukrainian drones, at a depth of 450 kilometers

Large and continuous explosions were recorded early this morning, near the Russian city of Toropets, north of Ukraine at a distance of about 450 kilometers from the border.

These explosions are apparently due to an attack by Ukrainian drones that hit a large warehouse of ammunition, mainly cruise and anti-aircraft missiles, among them, as recorded, from S-300 and S-400 systems, but also Iskander ballistic missiles, as well as guided bombs and artillery ammunition.

The explosions were so powerful that they were also recorded by seismographs with the highest reading at 2.8 Richter. Several residents of neighboring areas were asked to evacuate their homes for several hours while they were damaged.

The existence of a large and highly valuable ammunition installation there, as the “107th Depot of Missile Systems” has been confirmed by earlier statements by Russian officials, who also confirmed how well the infrastructure was armored.

As usual, Ukraine has yet to officially claim responsibility (while leaks speak of a “leveling of the base”), while the Russian government has only announced that a massive Ukrainian drone attack was intercepted.
