Are Modern Citizens stupid?

“We live in a world where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the press destroy true information, religions destroy morality, and our banks destroy the economy, which in turn destroys the environment” (Chris Hedges, Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist).

The weariness of this lifeless system, in which the linguistic confusion of good and evil, as Friedrich Nietzsche calls it, shapes our daily lives, is palpable. However, this should not obscure the actual balance of power in contemporary societies. The vast majority continue to present themselves as a docile mass, who on the “advice” of a government that can hardly be surpassed in ridiculousness, are already mentally preparing themselves for the “vaccine” against monkey pox (or any other “vaccine”). although the vaccination of millions during the supposed coronavirus pandemic is beginning to be revealed as the greatest crime in all of human history.

The author of the dystopian classic 1984, George Orwell, in an interview with the BBC shortly before his death in 1955, said the following: “My book shows the direction in which we are developing. In our world, there will be no emotions except fear, anger, triumph and self-abasement. But there will always be the power rush. If you want an image of the future, imagine a boot stepping on a human face. The moral of this dangerous nightmare situation is simple: Don’t let it happen.”

Orwell was right, but it’s not that simple. The blinders printed with woke laws, which moralist propagandists from politics and the media have put on the heads of citizens, threaten to cloud the senses of society to such an extent that they unconditionally follow the political clowns who are pulled by the strings that they they are held by the really powerful, the oligarchs. The liars and criminals at the top of the state need only give a nod and people will take to the streets. Against the far right, against the Nazis, against the anti-vaccinators, against the climate change infidels, all together to save “democracy”, which is being dismantled before their eyes by those whose poisoned calls they follow. Those who pose critical questions about democracy and its future are censored and branded as “conspiracy theorists”, “Nazis”, “extreme rightists” and end up in a common pot of trivialisation. (This has lowered a threshold of suspension that should never fall, at least as far as the National Socialists and their supporters are concerned).

And now let’s ask the question: Where are all the nazis, right-wingers, conspiracy theorists, coronavirus deniers and anti-vaccinationists, patriots, where the hell have they all disappeared? Do they or do they not have much weight in society? Where are all these being felt, except in the rage forums of the alternative media, all of which are now under the strictest surveillance. In which anyone who expresses themselves clearly should expect the bell to ring sometime in the morning?

But it would be very easy to explain everything with propaganda and woke-blinders and thus avoid responsibility. If you look at contemporary societies from a bird’s eye view, the strong are too strong, the resilient are too few, and the stupid are too stupid and too many. It has always been the case that large sections of the population were apolitical and uninterested in political issues because they did not directly affect them. Meanwhile, however, fundamental social questions of freedom, prosperity and democracy are being raised. It is a matter of life and death and at this point the inaction of the masses is intolerable.

Anyone who remains passive in the face of these existential dangers, which are initiated and pursued by political power, which runs after the narratives of the powerful, cannot be intelligent, must be ignorant and stupid. There are many in Greece, so many who voluntarily allow themselves to be led into the abyss. The few who see the connections in what is going on are led astray into the abyss of idiocy. Unfortunately.
