The image of a bloodied Donald Trump, seconds after the assassination attempt by Thomas Matthew Crooks, raising his fist and shouting to the crowd “fight” will forever remain “etched” in everyone’s mind.
Something happened that his political opponents never wanted to happen: He showed in true and real circumstances that he is “too tough to die” and has the makings of a great leader.
On top of that, the Democrats now have another serious problem:
Not even the possibility of a change of presidential candidate and someone else being placed in Joe Biden’s place can save them from a big defeat in the November elections.
There were many in the Democratic party who wanted to believe that if their presidential candidate changed they would have some chance of winning the election.
Now that can’t play a role either. The news is overwhelmingly in favor of Donald Trump.
The raised fist is not a symbolic gesture as many would like to believe.
He is a man who has suffered a real attack on his life, escaped because God willed it (that’s literal) and despite the shock he suffered and the short amount of time that followed, he had the courage to raise his fist to encourage his crowd of supporters and tell them to keep ‘fighting’!
This, in all history textbooks, is the definition of a real leader beyond the well-known communication games played in all election campaigns.
This unpleasant and bloody event showed the entire American nation the true “core” of Donald Trump.
The “metal” he really has as a person.
Whatever one of his opponents says, it will be mere words…
But there is something else that today’s assassination attempt has shown in the eyes of all those who support him but also to several who were not sure and did not belong to Donald Trump’s followers.
That is, the “American deep state” is concerned about the possibility of Donald Trump’s re-election and does not want this to happen.
He would even prefer another Republican candidate.
Why the “deep state” doesn’t worry Republicans. It is not the party that is afraid but the particular person.
A man who does not accept orders and recommendations and does what he considers best for his country and the American people (please read the analysis entitled “Will the “American Deep State” persist in the Biden candidacy?“).
His son Eric shared the image of his father on X, with the caption “This is the fighter America needs.”
Because Eric at that moment did not see his father but a leader who can lead the USA and the world out of the “darkness” they have been “sunk” into for the past 4 years.
It is no coincidence, moreover, that Republican strategist John Thomas, speaking to Sky News, said what many are thinking, that the assassination attempt against him could propel Trump to an outright victory in the November election.
Basically, Trump’s victory was expected by everyone. After all, this is also the reason why this particular assassination attempt took place.
The prospect of victory was already established in everyone’s minds, what changes now is its potential magnitude.
