Two Russian Tu-95M bombers bombed Poltava, Ukraine

As the Russians launch “stealth” attacks against Ukrainian targets, the US Navy plans to deploy drone-equipped submarines in the European region.

According to sources on social media, 2 Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers launched 8 missiles against the Ukrainian region of Poltava.

What makes the Russian operation special is the fact that the Ukrainians had no idea about the impending Russian bombing. The Ukrainian military failed to detect the enemy bombers throughout their flight from Russia to Ukraine. Kiev was informed of the attack after it had already been completed.

Internet users report that this is the first time something like this has happened during the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war. Although the Ukrainians did not always succeed in intercepting the Russian missile attacks, they always detected the Russian bombers that launched them.

In this case, Kiev not only did not intercept the Russian attack, it did not even expect it, so it did not even activate the air raid sirens in the targeted region. A few seconds after the launch of the Russian missiles, explosions rang out on the territory of Poltava, however, we do not know more details about the casualties.
