True to Nature: Open-Air Painting in Europe (1780-1870)

The theme of the new exhibition to be presented at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, brings to the fore all those artists who during the 18th century and the 19th century chose to paint out in nature. The exhibition will present intrepid artists such as Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, John Constable, Simon Denis, Jules Coignet, Andre Giroux. The result of this choice was to create wonderful topographies (oil on canvas).

The Marmottan Monet Museum presents an exhibition of works by Piet Mondrian (1872-1944). The exhibition presents over seventy projects and projects held by the first collector of works.
