Texas’ dispute with the US federal government over the illegal immigration problem at the state’s border has reached an extreme.
In particular, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has clashed with Biden’s open border policy by correctly labeling illegal immigrants as a public foreign enemy and a hostile invader.
Abbott’s effort has been supported by the deployment of National Guard forces to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants, as of this writing, by at least 25 other US states as well as Donald Trump.
There have been several other actions that have strengthened Abbott’s position, such as the passage of a new border security bill, which provides for the resumption of construction of a wall on the US border.
It is important to mention that when asked by a certified reporter at the White House why the Biden administration favors illegal immigration, the press representative could not give a satisfactory answer.
Sanctions by Biden in Texas as in Russia
Initially Biden gave Abbott 24 hours to remove the barbed wire from the Texas border. When that deadline passed fruitlessly, then in an unprecedented move Biden banned the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Texas, home to the two largest such facilities in the US. Biden’s justification was that LNG burdens the climate crisis and for this reason the federal government made this disastrous move for the economy of Texas and the US in general.
In essence, Biden imposed sanctions on Texas just as he tried to impose sanctions on Russia.
In addition, the whole gamut of sanctions to prevent Russia from exporting natural gas to Europe so that the US can get rich and bring Europe into crisis loses some meaning with the ban on exporting natural gas from Texas.
President Biden and his Democratic Party advisers are daydreaming and making one election mistake after another. Biden’s nonsensical actions such as defending illegal immigration and openly clashing with state governors through verbal threats and sanctions just months before the US election next November may sink the Democratic Party electorally and make Trump’s election much easier.
