More specifically and according to the Russian news service Avia-pro, the Russian Ministry of Defense made an official announcement regarding a strike that took place on September 25. In detail, an air-launched cruise missile hit major weapons systems and warehouses of the armed forces of Ukraine in a high-precision strike. The target of the attack was an object located near the village of Kisilevka in the Kherson region.
As a result of the powerful Russian missile strike and as a result of the subsequent detonated explosions, 12 hangars were destroyed. According to the information collected by the Moscow service, at the time of the explosion more than three thousand tons of ammunition of various calibers were in the infrastructure in question and as a result they were completely destroyed after the explosions. The incident is expected to have a serious negative impact on the operational readiness of Ukrainian military units in this area of the front, given the significant ammunition losses suffered by the country’s military.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s own statement emphasizes the advantages of using high-precision weapons, as these missiles help the Russian military significantly reduce the chances of collateral damage. These weapons focus and hit military targets with mathematical precision. According to Moscow, the tactical use of such weapons are part of the country’s strategic deterrence, while at the same time demonstrating the determination and ability of the Russian Federation to respond appropriately to any type of threat.
