In Hong-Kong from June until today, China’s patience is being tested by radicalised activists, not daring the Chinese government to implement methods of suppressing mass population.
In Iraq for almost a month the country’s youth is on the streets protesting angry over the inadequacy of the rulers, corruption and lack of perspective having killed 150 people so far.
In Lebanon, the streets are burning, and huge crowds are manifesting their wrath against humane austerity and corruption in a country where politicians challenge with their great wealth without being able to secure even the basic social goods which a country must provide to its citizens.
In Barcelona-Spain, the Catalan separatist movement manifests itself in violent forms of protest the imprisonment of its leaders.
In London, policemen are hastily smuggling MPs from Parliament to protect them from manifestations of violence by angry demonstrators due to the United Kingdom’s polarization of Brexit.
In Ecuador, crowds are protesting with brutality on the streets for extreme poverty and corruption.
In Santiago-Chile, massive and violent demonstrations erupted, due to the widening of socio-economic inequalities and the growing gap between the rich and the poor. The President of Chile in response to the rising wrath of the citizens declared the imposition of martial law.
From one end to the other the planet is “ablaze” by the wrath of civilians and their protests. The causes may vary from country to country, but all the explosions of violent and angry protests have a common element.
The accumulated indignation that manifests itself in rage and violence against hopelessly incompetent governments and political leaderships in general to give standing and workable solutions to the problems of citizens who will soothe their concerns at the same time for the future.
The common component of the wrath of all these citizens based on the deadlock, the corruption and in the lack of opportunities that they experience in order to be able to live on an equal footing in a prosperous society.
The streets of their cities and their countries in general form the canvas where they express their protest and dissatisfaction and sometimes their wrath for the incompetent rulers who hide behind titles such as “Democracy”, while ignoring that the Democracy requires the equal participation of all its citizens in the current social well-being.
Because only then do each participant in the Democracy receive the highest title-post that provides for a Democracy with any privileges and obligations that defines a democracy for him. The title-post of citizen.
