Ukrainians unsuccessfully attempted to attack Putin during the parade

The Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to attack Moscow on May 9, the day of the parade, with the help of three UJ-22 UAVs. It is reported that all three drones were successfully neutralized without causing damage to people or infrastructure.

According to sources, one of the drones was shot down in the sky above the village of Prezmyl in the Kaluga region, located 175 km from Moscow.

The second UAV made an emergency landing on the territory of the Bitsevsky forest, located not far from the Moscow ring road.

The third was discovered and neutralized in the Lomonosov district of the South-Western administrative district of the Russian capital.

As a result of the incident, none of the Ukrainian drones exploded, there were no casualties or damage. According to preliminary data, all three UAVs took off from Ukraine’s Chernihin region, which is about 600 kilometers from Moscow. Given the UJ-22 drone’s maximum range of 800 km, an attack from such a distance was quite feasible.

In total on May 9 more than 100 drones attempted to attack Russia

On May 9, the territory of Russia was attacked by more than 100 drones. The Armed Forces of Russia successfully resisted a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. It is noted that the main part of the work on the destruction and suppression of drones was done by electronic warfare (EW) specialists.

According to expert M. Zvinchuk on his Telegram channel: “In total, more than a hundred drones have been shot down so far. The air defense forces have done most of the work. The enemy continues to try to break through the state borders and reach in the central areas”.

Thanks to modern electronic warfare systems, the Russians were able not only to detect, but also to neutralize the Ukrainian threat from a large number of unmanned vehicles, while minimizing possible losses and risks to the population.

The war in Ukraine seems to be entering a new phase after the “assassination attempt” of Russian President Putin by Ukrainian drones that hit the Kremlin. The Ukrainians are sending swarms of drones against the Russians to keep them busy while the long-awaited Ukrainian military offensive begins, which we have been expecting for months.

The Russians, however, have acquired the appropriate EW systems, as well as drones, and are responding very well to this new type of drone warfare, which will dominate Eastern Ukraine in the near future.
