The AbramsX is a next-generation main battle tank with reduced weight for improved mobility and the same range of operational capabilities as the M1A2 Abrams but with 50% less fuel consumption.
The new tank comes with a new XM360 120mm cannon, a remote-controlled turret with a 30mm cannon and high lift capability to engage low-flying targets, TROPHY active self-protection system, a three-man crew protected inside the vessel, a new ACE (Advanced Combat Engine) etc.
AbramsX is probably the tank of the future for many countries in the West. We see it trying to “counter” the mighty Leopard 2A7+, and of course we also expect KMW’s “answer” (we assume it’s also resounding).
