A report (&#8220;The solution to online abuse? AI plus human intelligence&#8221;,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2022\/08\/online-abuse-artificial-intelligence-human-input\/\">https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2022\/08\/online-abuse-artificial-intelligence-human-input\/<\/a>) published on the WEF&#8217;s official website warns ominously of the danger of the &#8220;dark world of online harm&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WEF officials want to merge the &#8220;best&#8221; aspects of human censorship and AI machine learning algorithms to ensure that people&#8217;s feelings are not hurt and that views opposing the regime are blacklisted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;By uniquely combining the power of innovative technology, off-platform intelligence gathering and the ability of subject matter experts who understand how threat actors operate, scalable detection of online abuse can reach near-perfect accuracy,&#8221; said the exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liberalglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-37.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9477\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report concludes by proposing &#8220;a new framework: instead of relying on AI to detect at scale and humans to examine edge cases, an intelligence-based approach is vital.&#8221; Continuing, the report states, &#8220;By bringing human-curated, multilingual, cross-platform intelligence to learning sets, AI will then be able to detect nuanced, new abuses at scale before they reach mainstream platforms. Complementing this smarter automated detection with human expertise to look at outliers and spot false positives and negatives, and then feeding those findings back into training sets will allow us to build AI with human intelligence embedded,&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, your free speech will likely be censored before you can even post it on social networking sites.
