Continuing her successful international career based in New York, Iranian visual artist Sirin Neshat<\/strong> makes her first solo exhibition at Goodman Gallery Cape Town<\/strong>. Shirin Neshat\u2019s first solo exhibition in Cape Town brings together a video installation Sarah<\/em>, a photographic still from Roja<\/em> and Offerings<\/em>, a series of recent photographic-based works, which through different means incorporate Neshat\u2019s interest in the interior lives of women. Sarah<\/em> and Roja<\/em> are part of a trilogy of video installations titled Dreamers, which explore the world of women\u2019s dreams. In many ways, the characters and their dreamy narratives are projections of the artist in which she reflects on some of her own personal nightmares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
