This great Lisbon-born artist is associated with the redefinition of documentary painting mainly after 1980, dealing with the art of collage, their designs and hybrid forms. A Journey Becomes Legend<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liberalglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5054\"\/><figcaption>Photo by the website www.suermondt-ludwig-museum.de <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In the museum <strong>Suermondt-Ludwig <\/strong>is presented the story of the Albrecht Durer\u2019s stay in the Rhineland and the Netherlands in the period 1520-21 and through 90 various exhibits, including his travel diary. <\/em>Around 90 masterpieces by D\u00fcrer himself will be joined by around 90 outstanding works of art by his contemporaries and his followers: artists that D\u00fcrer met on his travels; and artists that D\u00fcrer inspired \u2013 through his journey and through his art.
