Exhibition<\/em> <\/strong>Albrecht Altdorfer, a German Renaissance Master<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Exhibition which takes place in Louvre Museum<\/strong> is dedicated to painter, draftsman, and printmaker active in Regensburg, Albrecht Altdorfer (about 1480\u20131538) was a major artist of the German Renaissance. Nevertheless, the artist is less renowned than other masters of his generation, such as Albrecht D\u00fcrer, Lucas Cranach and Hans Baldung Grien. The St\u00e4del is for the first time dedicating an exhibition to this valuable collection. On display will be eighty representative drawings by artists who are hardly known today, but who were often extraordinarily successful in their time, as well as by art-loving amateurs who drew at a high level.
