The form that dominates our days. This is certainly common knowledge. Whether it is a reigning democracy, or presidential or presidential. Whether it is liberal or socialist, or any other type that may have existed or is about to exist, it carries with it a basic property. That within this pot of government the plant of the State will grow. The pot and its soil will shape the growing plant.

In the so-called “West”, the ubiquitous centers of power, think tanks, parties, governments, mechanisms of justice and of influencing public opinion, have been working for many decades to promote democracy, eliminating every other form of government from our lives, as leniently useless or even “diabolical”. This, of course, as a central idea, constitutes a contradiction for the core democratic ideology, which –supposedly– is based on the free choice of citizens and not on the prohibition of choices. But in this text we will not be concerned with the legitimization of democracy but with the form of the State it produces.

Here, we do not need to philosophize or theorize. The State of Democracy has been around for too many years so that it is only necessary to make observations on its work and its influence on our societies. Initially, let us look at the issue in the general context.

What is a State for modern societies?

And by modern we necessarily refer to those of the last two centuries, since most of you have lived in the 20th century but we also live in the 21st century.

Some significant leaders and historical figures, regardless of whether they cover us politically, have defined the State.

Here is how the Bolshevik leader saw the State:

The State is an instrument in the hands of the ruling class, whose purpose is to combat the resistance of those who are opposed to this class. Joseph Stalin

Lenin’s opinion is interesting, since the left today is considered the progressive and pro-people political group. But the opinion of a Western economist is also revealing:

Representative democracy cannot exist if a significant part of the voters is paid by the state. Ludwig von Mises

Von Mises may not be well known to everyone, but he is an emblematic figure of liberal economic theory, as it was formed from the middle of the 20th century onwards. But the sayings of leaders and scientists are good.

But what does the State mean for the citizen?

For the person who experiences life in the real fields and not in halls of power, who struggles for food on the table and a decent living? In other words, what does the State mean for the vast majority of people?

I am sure that you will agree with me that it means three and only three simple and basic things:

Securing employment – the State is committed to ensuring that the citizen will be able to have a decent job and be able to live.

Ensuring security – the State is committed to ensuring that the “everyday” citizen will be able to live safely, without himself and his family being at risk from illegal elements.

Ensuring basic health – the State is committed to providing social protection from diseases and the existence of some basic health care to its citizens or at least to its active citizens.

For these particularly basic things, democratic powers have committed to providing them to citizens as absolutely necessary conditions for the functioning of a modern state. They are, let’s say, the pillars of today’s regimes, in the sense that they promise everything regardless of whether they are, for example, progressive or liberal or popular.

The provision of these things is also the central criterion for citizens to elect a party. Think about it. How many times have you heard someone say: I will not vote for Biden because he did not look at the economy and supported Ukraine in the war with Russia? Almost never.

The argument is I will vote for him because he appointed me to the public sector or senator so-and-so found me a job or because my salary increased and the cost of living decreased. And of course the same applies to all parties. “I will vote for Trump because he reduced the debt.” And other such things that do not even have to be true, as long as the state machine has presented them as true.

That is, in modern democracies, the fulfillment of these three conditions that we mentioned to you is so important for citizens that even the perception that these conditions are fulfilled is enough, and not proof of it!

Issues such as:

demographics,

national and historical consciousness,

protection of traditions,

equality,

personal freedoms,

elimination of corruption,

self-management,

substantial education and social cohesion,

progress,

have essentially been left in the corner to gather dust. We as The Liberal Globe do not say this. Do not rush to accuse us. Everyday life says so.

Although the text refers to the entire “West” if we talk about Western societies, the numbers of abortions per year in Western societies say so. That is, every year at least one metropolis is lost through abortions.

The decisions of the courts that defiantly protect the elite involved in the Jeffrey Epstein list say so. The persecution of all those who raise their voices against the leftist establishment says so. And if you have not realized the demonization of anyone who presents themselves as a nationalist or liberal, then stop reading here. There is no point in going any further, you are wasting your time.

The crazy dance of corruption that is rotting like aggressive gangrene in Western societies also says so. To the point where anyone who does not lick their fingers, putting their fingers in the honey of the state treasury, is considered an idiot…

The exhausting bureaucracy that eliminates the possible self-management of communities says so.

Education says so, which in the land of sciences and philosophers has been compressed into books that create idiots and populations that are unable to write a letter or express coherent sentences.

As for cohesion and social progress, let’s leave aside the thousands of robberies and attacks and the exhortations of the authorities to “do what you sleep with” so that they don’t kill you when they rob you…

Everyday life therefore confirms that any Democratic state has shrunk to the promise of addressing the three basic needs that we mentioned above and has forgotten any vision or ideological value. The state that Democracy created in the “West” has failed to fulfill the three basic conditions of its existence, although it had so few requirements.

The Autoignition

But at The Liberal Globe, like others, we believe that the state is not a machine, but a living being. It does not fall under the Physical science of the universe, but under the science of Biology. In other words, the state, ultimately, is its people. Those who operate it and those who endure it. And when the balances are upset, then inevitably the states are also upset.

With this tactic that I have illustrated, Democratic states have long since begun to self-ignite. Promises that remain promises have now become a noose around the necks of citizens, but also of those in power. Why else would they need armies of -literal- bodyguards, since they provide such progress and prosperity? And why didn’t other rulers in the past have such a need?

The failure of this Democratic practice is obvious. The institutions of our days do not withstand any criticism or scrutiny from intelligent people.

The icing on the cake of the “greatness” of Democracy is its absolute satisfaction with itself. The rulers who constitute a modern, slightly less bloodthirsty version of the rulers of the French Revolution, as long as they are happy themselves, as long as their politics live, prosper and develop in the Mass Media, are little interested in the well-being of societies outside the studios.

And this practice of theirs is responsible for the self-ignition we mentioned. A state that does not have the means to change or is not interested, also lacks the means to survive.

The answer to all these short-sighted, cunning tools of power, the medicine they have found for the death of their system, is globalization.

We are not the most competent to develop such a complex problem, so I will limit myself to the words of Carl Schmitt.

There cannot be a world state that would encompass the entire earth and all of humanity. The political world is a polyglot, not a universe.

Democracy is a form of government. The form that dominates our days.
