Human consciousness does not evolve because the applied theories of geopolitics, technologies and economics change. What changes is the cultural environment in which our perceptions are formed. Each era produces its own certainties, but it also produces its own illusions. The change of ideas is not identical with the inner evolution of humanity.

We at The Liberal Globe are equally wary of the notion that the current transformations are in themselves favorable aspects and will provide a creative outlet for the disharmony that prevails in most countries of the world. If this happens, it is a product of effort and not at all a given. Usually, however, transformations are considered extremely important, but not necessarily beneficial.

They can function both creatively and destructively. In reality, the importance of such transformations in the fields we mentioned lies not only in the great powers of the planet themselves, but also in the connection they create. Systems function as conduits through which dynamics are transmitted from one principle to another. The greater the symmetry of a system, the more effective its operation becomes, regardless of the content of the energy it carries.

But there is also a second, less obvious dimension to these transformations. Behind the symmetry of the alliances, a deeper structure of tension is hidden, which emerges when the transformation is examined with more complex techniques and approaches. Beneath the surface of the alliance, a mechanism operates that creates a disharmonious formation with the participation not only of those countries and powers that participate in these alliances between them, but also of geopolitical rivals.

Moreover, the harmonious alliance means mainly that energy flows unhindered between the allies. The problems that arise do not neutralize the alliance that constitutes the center of gravity of the countries-large associations. On the contrary, they allow it to manifest itself with even greater effectiveness.

Innovation cannot transform history unless it is embraced by the collective imagination, institutionalized, and ultimately incorporated into a new power structure.

This is precisely what the geometry of transformation describes. History shows that every major technological revolution follows much the same path.

Printing did not just spread knowledge. It weakened the Church’s monopoly on information.

The industrial revolution did not just increase production. It transferred economic power from landowners to industrialists.

The internet did not just liberate communication. It created global giants that accumulated more personal information wealth than entire states ever had.

That is why we believe that today’s transformation does not simply describe a new technological era. It describes the transition to a different way of exercising power.

Many believe that technology leads to decentralization. We see something different. We see a decentralization of functions, but an unprecedented concentration of control.

We will be able to work from anywhere, transact with anyone, and have access to almost any form of knowledge or, to be more precise, any form of information. But all of this will pass through fewer and fewer platforms, fewer networks, and less infrastructure.

For the first time in history, technology can create images, voices, events, and people that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The great battle of the next decade may not be fought over who has the most guns and weapons, but over who gets to determine what is considered truth.

If all of this evolves as the current transformations taking place on the planet show, real geopolitical power will not depend only on the army, raw materials or capital.

It will depend on the possession of data, computing power, energy, semiconductors, communication networks and, above all, on the ability to predict and shape human behaviour.

For each country, current transformations acquire particular importance, as they activate critical points related to its international position and its role within the new geopolitical balances. The geography of a country does not change. What changes is the value it acquires within each new historical era.

As power shifts from traditional centers towards energy, digital infrastructure, networks, data and strategic corridors, the geopolitical importance of the country that becomes a node in all of this is likely to be strengthened.

The crucial issue, however, will not only be the opportunities that may arise for the specific country or countries, but the terms under which they will be exploited.

In periods of great historical transition, the most important agreements are judged not at the moment they are signed, but by the new balances of power that they create in the years to come.

The challenge for such a country that embodies such characteristics in its geopolitical position will not be simply to participate in developments, but to maintain a substantial degree of autonomy in the face of an increasingly complex network of international interests and dependencies.

If this assessment of ours proves correct, the next period may bring significant opportunities but also demanding decisions for these countries. Their real value will not be seen immediately but over time, when the consequences of the choices that are being made today become visible.

Children born today will likely be the first generation to accept the coexistence of human and artificial intelligence as completely normal.

They will be highly adaptable and able to operate in complex technological environments. Their greatest challenge, however, will not be to learn more, but to discern what is authentic in a world where reality can be reproduced, modified, and constructed with unprecedented ease.

Perhaps the current transformations that humanity is experiencing are leading to the birth of a new model of civilization.

Whether this civilization will serve freedom or a more sophisticated form of control will not be decided by transformations. Transformations indicate the times. History is still written by people.

Many contemporary analysts see in the current era of upheavals in the fields of geopolitics, economics, politics, technology and science a new formation that…

[990,991
1490,189,8232
post-29765","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-columns","category-feuilleton","tag-geopolitics","tag-humanity","tag-the-liberal-globe
["GET
