Among the highlights are monumental panels, brush and ink drawings and some of his most exceptional gouache works: La Tristesse du roi, Zulma, La Danseuse cr\u00e9ole and Nus bleus. This will be demonstrated by the first extensive retrospective exhibition of the artist in the United States, with more than 200 drawings, paintings, tapestries and works of decorative arts, which took seven years to gather from private collections and leading museums.
