According to the analysis of Russian intellectual Alexander Dugin, humanity in early 2026 is experiencing a colossal shift in global architecture. On the occasion of Donald Trump’s initiative for Greenland and the developments in Venezuela, Dugin argues that we are facing the end of the old order and the birth of a “quantum” world, where power trumps any concept of international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greenland and Venezuela: The expansion of empire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dugin believes that Trump’s pursuit of Greenland is not simply an attempt to make history alongside the presidents who bought Alaska and Louisiana. It is the implementation of a modernized \u201cMonroe Doctrine,\u201d where the US establishes itself as the sole, absolute hegemon in the Western Hemisphere. The five-fold division of the West<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dugin points out that the most important result of the current crisis is the dissolution of the collective West. The once unified monolith has shattered into five distinct poles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/strong> The Primary West (Trump’s USA)<\/strong>: Trump himself acts as the sole spokesperson for the West, treating everyone\u2014enemies and allies alike\u2014as expendable ornaments or \u201csubordinates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The analysis describes Trump as a \u201ccowboy\u201d who has invaded world politics like a Wild West saloon. The Russian philosopher explains that the sharp increase in Trump\u2019s aggression (tanker seizures, kidnappings of leaders, ultimatums) is due to the internal resistance he faces from the judicial system and Soros. The revelation that Trump invited Vladimir Putin to the \u201cPeace Council\u201d on Gaza is, according to Dugin, an attempt by the US president to build new structures, free from globalists. Despite Russia\u2019s condemnation of the genocide in Palestine, this move shows that Trump wants to cooperate with sovereign leaders, in defiance of Brussels. For the European elite, this Moscow-Washington approach is the ultimate nightmare scenario, as they realize that Ukraine could be sacrificed at any moment on the altar of a new global division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine and the New Quantum Politics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Dugin warns that despite the focus on Greenland, Trump will not \u201cgive\u201d Ukraine to Russia. On the contrary, he sees it as a lever of pressure to keep Russia weakened. The philosopher speaks of a \u201cquantum situation\u201d in international politics, where the old rules do not apply and Russia must act with a more \u201ccrazy\u201d and proactive strategy, taking advantage of the chaos that Trump is causing within NATO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
